Left in the Dark

Every now and then the nuances of being left handed/right brained take a bit of a toll and on those gray days I become somebody that thinks they know search engine optimization and in typical Curious Left Handed ADD George and compulsively seek more left handed blogs, studies, then see whats up with the homies on Facebook, check the Facebook Wikipedia article, pick up PC Mag, and eventually find my way back to some left-handed news then realize its been 3 days.

Okay, got the digression out of my system - but back to those gray days I realized the material has no gray, no real middle ground.  Usually it gives me that little kick to read articles that I very likely have already viewed; all the great things about being left handed.  But it was time for a reality check; what to make of the collection of information and the conclusion is at its simplest - confusing and cause for concern.

Here we have an article that presents an idealist left handed utopia.  Wild guess, the author is left handed?  If so, the bias and accuracy of this article becomes highly questionable.  On the other hand, this article coming from the WSJ has the makings of what one would expect from this level of journalism.  What we find is a stark contrast and unsettling left handed studies and reports that I immediately try to cherry pick and manipulate for my own mental satisfaction.  I have noticed that the left handed who are aware of the science and psychology (IE right brained) often have an inflated pride about being left handed. Studies aside, it is fact to me when individuals are lacking they seem to overcompensate.  For example, the official diagnosis of Little Manus Syndromisis from a life time of knowing short people with a tough guy persona is absolute.

BRB more to come...
